At American Family Medicine, we believe healthcare should be personal, compassionate, and accessible to everyone. Founded in 2018 by brothers Dr. Gustavo Lopez and Dr. Alejandro Lopez, our practice was built on the vision of making high-quality medical care more accessible to the community.

With a deep passion for patient care and a commitment to serving families we recognized the need for affordable, comprehensive healthcare that puts patients first. What started as a single clinic has since grown and expanded across the valley, allowing us to reach more families and individuals in need of compassionate, reliable medical care.

American Family Medicine is focused on the comprehensive treatment of disease, from newborns to geriatrics. We offer services for general medicine, from a sore throat to chronic ailments like diabetes and cardiovascular disease

From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean and organized the clinic was. The front desk was being managed efficiently by two gentlemen who were professional and welcoming. After checking in, the medical assistant promptly brought me back and took my vitals. When Karen came into the room, she immediately made me feel at ease. She was extremely professional and attentive, taking the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. What stood out to me the most was her ability to genuinely connect, she made my concerns relatable by sharing how she understands them from real-life experience. I’ve been searching for a primary care provider who takes the time to really listen and doesn’t make the visit feel rushed. Karen absolutely delivered that. Her bedside manner is excellent, and I especially appreciated being able to communicate in both English and Spanish with her.
